Mission

El Colony is a London-based, female-owned production and development company led by a former advertising creative and screenwriter, representing international directors for film, TV and commercials. We cut our teeth in TV commercials, music videos and short form, but evolved with our roster. Since 2020, we develop a slate of international film and TV titles — fiction, animation, and documentary. We believe the best stories come from life, and follow them wherever the form leads. Helen Blakeman (BAFTA/EMMY) joined as co-EP on a feature animation.

Founded in 2011. With a BAFTA-Rocliffe win for a feature script, projects on our slate were selected for TorinoFilmLab, TFL Series and Midpoint Series Launch labs.
