Mission

El Colony is a London-based, female-owned production and development company.  We cut our teeth in TV commercials, music videos and short form, but evolved with our roster. Since 2020, we develop a slate of international film and TV titles — fiction, animation, and documentary. We believe the best stories come from life, and follow them wherever the form leads. Helen Blakeman (BAFTA/EMMY) joined as co-EP on a feature animation.

Founded in 2011. With a BAFTA-Rocliffe win for a feature script, projects on our slate were selected for TorinoFilmLab, TFL Series Next, Midpoint Series Launch labs.
